Velvet is a restaurant designed for different times of the day and the week. In the morning, it’s a place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. At lunchtime, it’s a great option for a good meal, with a daily set menu that changes and surprises. And in the evening, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, it’s a meeting place to have dinner, enjoy a cocktail and let the evening draw out.

Our cuisine is Mediterranean, home-style and prepared with care. We like to cook the way we’d like to eat: using quality ingredients, with patience and a desire for every dish to have meaning. That’s why we offer elaborate recipes, grilled dishes, slow-cooked dishes, starters to share and homemade desserts that change with the seasons.

Relaxed cuisine, friendly service and a unique atmosphere

At Velvet, we take just as much care with what comes out of the kitchen as we do with what happens around the table. We want everyone to feel comfortable, well looked after and keen to come back, whether it’s for a weekday breakfast, a quick bite to eat, a special dinner or a group celebration.

We’re not in it for the sake of making a splash. We prefer to do things properly: a varied menu, dishes with character, carefully crafted cocktails and a space that can adapt to any occasion.

Velvet features a range of areas designed to ensure there’s a space for everyone: a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, areas for groups and a private room with a recommended capacity of up to 20 people.

We can also accommodate larger groups, with a maximum capacity of up to 130 people depending on the event layout. Couples, friends, families, corporate groups or private celebrations: every group can find their own way to enjoy Velvet.

We are located at Carrer Batista i Roca, 63, in Mataró. A convenient location for those coming from the city, the Maresme or the surrounding area, with easy parking right outside or just a short walk from the restaurant.

The premises are also accessible to people with reduced mobility, featuring a ramp, level parking spaces and an adapted toilet.
